Role & responsibilities
1. Business Strategy Support
a. Market Research: Conducting market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. This helps inform strategic decisions on marketing and business growth.
b. Business Development: Supporting efforts to develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
c. Performance Analysis: Analyzing business performance metrics (e.g., sales data, customer acquisition costs, ROI) to provide insights and recommendations to the founders for business optimization.
d. Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Marketing Strategy Development
a. Brand Strategy: Collaborating with the founder(s) to define and refine the companys brand voice, positioning, and identity. Ensuring consistency in all marketing communications.
b. Go-To-Market Plans: Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or services. This may include managing product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
c. Customer Segmentation: Identifying key target audiences and crafting marketing strategies tailored to each segment.
3. Campaign Execution & Management
a. Campaign Planning & Implementation: Designing, planning, and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., digital marketing, content, social media, email, paid ads).
b. Cross-Department Collaboration: Working closely with sales, product, and design teams to ensure alignment in campaign execution and that marketing activities support sales and revenue goals.
c. Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitoring the performance of campaigns and adjusting tactics in real time to improve outcomes (e.g., improving conversion rates, lead generation).
4. Internal Communication
a. Founder's Liaison: Acting as a communication bridge between the founder andthe rest of the organization, ensuring the founders directives are well understood and executed.
b. Internal Updates: Keeping employees informed about key decisions, updates, and strategic shifts coming from the leadership team
5. Executive Assistance
a. Administrative Support: Providing high-level administrative and personal assistance to the founder, such as managing schedules, travel, and meetings.
b. Decision Support: Gathering data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes at the founder level.
6. Business Development
a. New Opportunities: Identifying and exploring new business opportunities, partnerships, or markets that align with the companys goals.
b. Investor Relations: Assisting with fundraising efforts, preparing for investor meetings, and ensuring investor relations are maintained.
7. Company Culture and Talent Management
a. Culture Shaping: Helping to foster the company’s values and ensuring the culture aligns with the founder’s vision.
b. Talent Acquisition: Assisting in hiring key talent, especially in early-stage companies, and managing relationships with recruitment firms.
