AI Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic AI Engineer to join our AI Research and Development team. Our AI Research team focuses on solving unique challenges while pushing the boundaries of AI research and innovation, turning these advancements into real-world impact for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, algorithm development, and machine learning infrastructure, building and training Large and Small Language Models with experience in both the product development and services industry. This role demands a deep understanding of Generative AI models, industry standard algorithms, software engineering and cloud technologies, with a strong focus on validation and optimization processes.

• Algorithm Development: Develop, optimize, and validate state-of-the-art algorithms, including Generative AI.
• Generative AI Model development and training: Working with, evaluating and using the best Language model for each task, training and building custom LLMs as necessary, and performing necessary prompt engineering to build reliable outcomes.
• Model Validation: Create robust internal and external validation frameworks for AI/ML models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability
• Building AI Agents: Building and productionizing AI agents that cater to specific needs in the industry.
• Cloud Deployment: Design and deploy ML solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure , or GCP, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Data Insights: Analyze large-scale data sets to derive actionable insights and guide AI/ML solution design.
• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate AI/ML components into innovative products and services.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to the broader research community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, working with data structures and algorithms in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, R). The candidate should have experience in Microservices or Application development and hands-on knowledge on Dev-Sec-Ops principles and practices.
• 1+ years of experience with state-of-the-art Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or related concepts (e.g., language modeling, computer vision).
• 2+ years of experience with ML infrastructure , including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies to ensure inclusivity in AI solutions.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, large-scale system design, or natural language processing.

About the Team:

Location: This position is based in our Bangalore office with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in the office. You will be working on research and client projects, collaborating with teams and stakeholders as needed.
