AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI innovation lab. This is a rare opportunity to build the foundations of a platform that, we believe, will redefine how marketing is done in the industry.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, machine learning and AI integration with recent experience in developing and deploying generative AI applications into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions for our marketing platform, leveraging large language models as well as classic ML models
• Rapidly expand our GenAI APIs and lead their integration into our existing marketing products and services
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI infrastructure on Azure
• Optimize AI model performance and efficiency for marketing use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our marketing platform's capabilities through AI

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack AI/ML engineering roles
• Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in data engineering and ML libraries
• Demonstrated knowledge of integrating large language models at the application layer
• Fluency in SQL and intimate familiarity with a variety of specialized datastores
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services, especially Data Engineering PaaS
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at remote collaboration, embraces culture of writing

Preferred Skills:

• Solid experience (released products) integrating large language models, including function calling and AI agents
• Experience in the marketing technology domain and familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs)
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and Experimentation frameworks
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations and their impact on AI in marketing
• Experience with natural language processing applications in marketing contexts
