Position : Lead Credit Risk - B2B Marketplace

Job Location : Multiple Locations across South India.

Key Expertise:

- Must have substantial experience in unsecured lending to MSMEs.

- Should manage a monthly disbursement portfolio exceeding - 50 crores.

Role Responsibilities:

Policy Development:

- Collaborate with the central credit and risk team to develop and implement credit policies and procedures focused on MSMEs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.

Credit Risk Assessment:

- Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of MSMEs by analyzing financial reports and other relevant data.

- Determine and recommend appropriate credit limits and terms for MSME borrowers.

Portfolio Management:

- Oversee and manage the credit risk portfolio to mitigate potential risks while ensuring a monthly disbursement target of over - 50 crores.

- Analyze the quality and performance metrics of the MSME lending portfolio and implement strategies to minimize credit losses.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with lending officers, underwriters, and senior management to communicate credit risk performance and align on strategies for portfolio growth.

Risk Modelling & Analysis:

- Utilize advanced credit risk models to assess default probabilities, conduct stress testing, and ensure appropriate provisioning for potential losses.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience: 8-10 years of experience in Credit Risk Management with a focus on unsecured lending to MSMEs, preferably in NBFCs, microfinance, or similar platforms.

Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of credit risk management, particularly in unsecured lending.

- Experience with portfolio management, risk modelling, and credit analysis.
