Dispatch Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

Dispatch & packing planning as per Work order received.

Check the detail of the order & then preparation of delivery advice & packing list before dispatch.

Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders packing/dispatch specifications.

Arranges dispatch by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating delivery requirements; placing and expediting internal orders.

Coordinating for logistic, transport.

To identify the product before the packaging and then pack the material as per customer requirements.

To train the workforce for material handling, packing and dispatch of product.

Sound knowledge to pack the material in a desired manner for packing the product.

Forward the dispatch detail to accounts department for invoicing.

Dispatch the material timely in safely as per the customer requirements.

Keep close control on packing handling and storage of product.

Good knowledge of inventory management & associated logistics related to dispatch.

To maintain all documents required as per ISO.

Ensure the availability of necessary dispatch documents e.g. Challan, pre delivery inspection report as required.

Maintain files and records of customer order, FGS & packaging inventory, transport charges, expenses, and other dispatch information.
