Microsoft Dynamics Consultant - NAV/Business Central (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics Consultant to join our team on a remote, contractual basis. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, development, and support of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (BC) solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in an Australian time zone.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform installation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central systems.

- Ensure proper setup and configuration of environments to meet client requirements.

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Dynamics NAV/BC systems.

- Provide technical support to end-users and address their concerns promptly.

- Develop and customize Dynamics 365 Business Central applications using AL language.

- Design, develop, and test core Dynamics 365 Business Central apps.

- Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents.

- Make technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom development.

- Work with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and scope modifications and custom development.

- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

- Ensure adherence to development best practices.

- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.

- Develop and implement integrations between Dynamics NAV/BC and third-party systems using web services/APIs.

- Working experience on Integrations.

- Dynamic NAV web service/API experience to integrate with 3rd party software.

- Develop and maintain RDLC reports.

- Real time knowledge of RDLC reports.

- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

- Excellent communication, planning and organization skills.

- Good understanding of events and subscribers.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/D365 Business Central.

- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/D365 BC

- Strong hands-on experience with NAV/BC installation and configuration.

- Proficiency in AL development.

- Strong understanding of events and subscribers.

- Experience developing and integrating with web services/APIs.

- Experience with RDLC reporting.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and remotely.

- MSD D365 BC development skills

- Should be familiar with BC / NAV troubleshooting.

Certifications :

- Microsoft Dynamics certifications.

Working Conditions :

Location : This position may be based on-site, with potential opportunities for remote work.

Hours : Standard business hours (Australia Time Zone - 04:00 AM to 01:00 PM), with occasional requirements for after-hours support or project work.
