Overview
Avocette is building an offshore .NET development team to support our growth with multiple Canadian and US clients
and are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer with 5+ years of software project delivery experience to
join our Project Development & Application Support team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with multiple clients, providing both Application
Support/Maintenance and Project Development services. The candidate needs to be a dynamic and experienced
individual who has excellent communication skills and is able to translate design requirements into software
development deliverables.
We are expecting this candidate to bring strong analytical, designing, programming, and documentation skills to the
team.
Challenges that the successful candidate may encounter in this position include working across multiple timezones
and working with complex systems.
Responsibilities

Work closely with local and remote development team members, business analysts, project managers, and
product managers on a variety of work assignments
Participate in all aspects of System Development Life Cycle activities including architecture, design, and
development

Provide proactive updates regarding development progress, issues, and concerns
Creation of unit test cases and automated testing where appropriate
Mentorship of junior resources
Following industry standards and coding best-practices

Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
3+ years of professional experience with .NET Core
3+ years of professional experience with C#
Strong work experience with Angular 14, AngularJS & ReactJS
SQL Server experience
Good experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2022
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good experience with Azure DevOps
Excellent working experience with the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated experience working with diverse and varied project teams of both technical and business
team members
