The personnel will be responsible for looking after the overall activities related to finance and accounts matters of the various companies that are part of overseas ventures unit of that invests and partner with start-ups across the globe. This includes but not limited to business opportunity evaluation, financial analysis of opportunities, preparation of accounts, review of financial statements, MIS preparation, etc.

Job location would be BKC-Mumbai.

Role and Responsibility

• Build dashboards/MIS forkeeping track of investments in various companies and treasury accounts and providing regular updates to the Board
• Support in evaluation of new start-up leads and business proposals
• Support in preparation of memos for investment committee and the Board
• Coordinate with founders/ CFO of the underlying companies to get regular inputs on financial performance of the companies
• Oversee audit process and prepare internal audit scheduleswherever applicable
• Manage and oversee account payables and account receivables
• Record and maintain financial accounts of underlying companies
• Record and maintain documents required from regulatory compliance perspective in respective jurisdiction
• Lead the standardization process to streamline Finance & Accounting and related areas
• Maintain regular and timely reviews of established processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Support in program management of various promoter level initiatives and projects
• Support in implementation of risk management framework
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions

Qualifications

• Qualified CA + MBA with at least 7 years of experience
• Preference for candidates having working experience with Big 10 audit company
• Experience of working with a VC/PE/Corporate investment team, would be an added advantage

• Skilled at stakeholder management and have experience of working with senior management as job role require interacting with C-level executives
• Flexible with working hours as role will require working with professionals from different geographies (US & Europe) and time zones
• Multi-Jurisdictional experience in compliance, accounting and taxation.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
