We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who is enthusiastic about digital marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience in managing social media platforms. As an intern, you will assist in the development and execution of social media strategies that help grow our online presence, increase engagement, and build brand awareness.
This role requires a passion for social media, content creation, and analytics. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce engaging content, monitor social channels, and analyze campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Help create and curate engaging content (text, images, videos, stories) for daily posts.
Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement opportunities, and competitor activity.
Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Conduct research on current social media trends and emerging platforms.
Assist with scheduling and posting social media content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
Analyze performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, clicks) and create reports on social media activities.
Help manage and organize content libraries for easy access and distribution.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas, campaigns, and strategies.
Support in running basic paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Instagram under the guidance of the marketing team.
Skills:
Current enrollment in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Passion for social media and understanding of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Basic knowledge of social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and attention to detail in creating engaging social media content.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, or willingness to learn.
Ability to multitask and work effectively within deadlines.
Analytical mindset and interest in learning about social media metrics and optimization.
Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, iMovie) is a bonus, but not required.
