Job Title: ELV/BMS Sales Engineer


Location: Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and technically proficient ELV/BMS Sales Engineer to promote and sell our advanced ELV and BMS solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge in ELV/BMS systems with a proven track record in sales, enabling them to meet or exceed sales targets while building lasting relationships with clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth in the ELV/BMS industry across key markets in India.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ELV/BMS solutions within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Generate inquiries, manage leads, and follow up with potential clients to drive sales.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site surveys to understand requirements and propose the most suitable ELV/BMS solutions.
  • Provide tailored technical recommendations and ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process and project lifecycle.

3. Project and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in ELV/BMS products, including systems like CCTV, access control, fire alarms, energy management, and HVAC controls.
  • Work closely with the technical team to customize solutions based on client specifications and project requirements.

4. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to continuously refine and improve sales strategies.
  • Identify potential projects, key stakeholders, and market opportunities for ELV/BMS products in construction, commercial, and industrial sectors.

5. Proposal and Quotation Management:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate proposals, quotations, and technical presentations that align with client requirements and project specifications.
  • Ensure proposals meet company guidelines on pricing, profitability, and project scope.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and insights to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, specifically in the ELV or BMS industry.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of ELV/BMS systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms, energy management, HVAC systems).
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Leading ELV/BMS Brands: Familiarity with top brands like Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls.
  • Industry Experience: Knowledge of project-based sales within the construction, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand complex technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions for clients.

Work Conditions:

  • Field-based Role: Frequent travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Client Interaction: Strong focus on client-facing activities and relationship-building across different stages of the sales process.
