Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team and help bring our innovative activity kits to life. This role requires expertise in understanding paper and printing qualities, vendor coordination, and creative collaboration with photographers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting engaging products for children while ensuring high-quality standards in materials and design execution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development and Material Sourcing:

- Identify and source appropriate paper types and printing materials that meet the brand's quality standards and sustainability goals.

- Collaborate with the design team to finalize materials, colors, and textures for activity kits.

- Ensure product components align with safety and quality guidelines for children's products.

Vendor Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, printers, and manufacturers.

- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and production schedules to meet budgetary and deadline requirements.

- Conduct regular quality checks during production to ensure consistent standards.

Printing and Quality Control:

- Oversee the printing process, ensuring the final products meet design specifications.

- Monitor the production of printed materials, including packaging, instructional guides, and kit components, to prevent color or material inconsistencies.

Creative Coordination:

- Work closely with photographers to plan and execute product photoshoots, ensuring accurate representation of the kits.

- Coordinate styling, props, and layouts for promotional visuals and marketing materials.

Inventory and Procurement:

- Plan and track inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability for launch and distribution.

- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create visually appealing displays that resonate with target audiences.

Market Research and Trends:

- Stay updated on trends in activity kits, materials, and printing techniques to keep the brand competitive.

- Analyze competitor products to identify areas for differentiation and improvement.

- Visit the wholesale market and procure material.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Product Design, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement, printing, or product development, preferably in childrens products.

- Technical Knowledge:

- In-depth understanding of paper grades, finishes, and printing processes (e.g., offset, digital).

- Experience working with manufacturers and vendors for high-quality production.

- Creative Skills: Strong aesthetic sense for product design and visual representation.

- Project Management: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders effectively.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

- Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, project management software, and basic inventory management systems
