Job Summary:

The Web Producer will be responsible for managing all aspects of website production, from content management to technical troubleshooting and design support. Working closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams, youll ensure that our web properties are engaging, up-to-date, and user-friendly. This role focuses on strong design skills, copy, and SEO, with an emphasis on editing and updating existing web pages using pre-built sections. We are not looking for a developer, but rather someone who can enhance and optimize pages within an existing WordPress theme. Key Responsibilities:

Content Management

• Manage and update website content using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
• Coordinate with content creators to publish timely articles, blog posts, landing pages, and multimedia elements.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and meets SEO best practices.

Project Management

• Oversee web projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to bring projects to life.
• Track and report project milestones, proactively addressing any delays or obstacles.

Design and UX Collaboration

• Collaborate with designers to maintain a cohesive look and feel across all web pages.
• Use UX best practices and feedback to enhance user engagement.
• Implement A/B testing and other optimization efforts to improve site performance.
• Design experience is essential to build visually appealing pages using components within an existing WordPress theme.

Technical Support and Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues on the website as needed.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address any broken links, outdated content, or technical issues.

Analytics and Optimization

• Use web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track and report on website performance metrics.
• Identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to improve site engagement and conversion rates.
• Implement SEO and accessibility improvements to enhance site visibility and inclusivity.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in web production, content management, or a similar role, ideally in a content management or production capacity.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CMS platforms, especially WordPress.
• Experience with editing and enhancing pages within a pre-built theme (no coding from scratch required).
• Strong skills in SEO and content optimization.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor adjustments (advanced coding skills not required).
• Familiarity with web analytics tools and SEO best practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
