Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Managing Quality Control and deadlines.

Management of site activities and in-charge of all functions of the project including supervising the progress at site and monitoring the site labour force.

Co-ordination with site in charge, different contractors and agencies to ensure continuity and quality of work.

Ensure the quality as per designed specifications.

Quality & Quantity certification and execution as per drawings.

The supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day to day management of the site which includes monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors.

The supervisor will be responsible for correction and maintenance of waterproofing treatment and application works pre & post construction until handover to client.

Regularly monitor and maintain waterproofing equipment to ensure it remains in working order.

Perform integrity testing & troubleshooting testing.

Conduct investigations, repair existing failing waterproofing.

Provide detailed inputs and feedback during project planning / program.

Provide reviews and input as to the development of waterproofing details and specifications of work executed or to be executed on site.

Ensure material, manpower & resource management on site.

Maintain day to day record of work progress at site.

Extract quality work from labour force at site.

Managing and solving labour problems at site and ensuring smooth work progress.

Measurement taking and verification for billing and giving approvals in finalization of sub-contractor billing.

Ensuring all safety protocols are followed at the site.

Managing and solving various other problems at site level and ensuring no unnecessary calls or messages are sent to senior staff or management.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma in Civil Engineering / B.E Civil Engineering with at least 2 3 years of field experience exclusively in building construction.

Should have hands on experience in waterproofing activities.

Knowledge of the products and techniques commonly used in waterproofing.

Diagnostic investigation and problem solving abilities.

Report writing.

Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, grouting, chemicals & coating materials will be advantageous.

Experience in Quality Control having thorough knowledge in waterproofing right from basement to completion of projects.

Good communication skills verbal and written.

Fast learner, Team player and an Analytical mindset.

Should be ready to travel to various sites and locations locally and pan India on short notice.
