Aws Data Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using AWS services such as Athena, DMS, EC2, EKS, Lake Formation, Quicksight, S3.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
  
• Develop complex SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets stored in Amazon Redshift.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to data processing workflows and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Ensure high availability and scalability of all deployed systems by monitoring performance metrics.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-13 years of experience in building data engineering solutions on the AWS platform.
  
• Strong expertise in working with AWS Lambda functions for serverless computing.
  
• Proficiency in developing ETL processes using AWS Glue or similar tools.
  
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop/Hive/Pyspark is a plus.
