Job Description

Senior Presales Engineer

Overview


The Senior Presales Engineer s primary responsibility is to assist the Sales team in

identifying target companies and developing the right messages/ solution proposals. The

job location is Trivandrum, India. He/ she will prepare critical sales materials with a firm

understanding of the delivery capabilities by working collaboratively with the technical

leaders. Work also involves managing a small team of presales engineers, providing

guidance and support for performing their tasks on time. Should have self-initiatives and

have a proactive approach to developing and maintaining sales materials that showcase

the company s offerings.


Job Responsibilities


Work with the sales teams to identify target companies.

Develop solutions proposals/ sales materials that meet the needs of potential

customers.

Manage and coordinate sales rhythms and proactively work with the

stakeholders to complete action items on time.

Create presentation materials and keep the company s technical capabilities up

to date as part of the sales kit.

Work with technical experts and prepare testimonials/ case studies to showcase

the company s capabilities.

Proactively engage with delivery leaders to identify customer challenges and

potential business expansion opportunities.

Act as Subject Matter Expert for the services the company provides.


Qualifications and Requirements


3-5 years experience in presales activities in a Product Engineering Services

company.

Must have expertise in developing sales presentations using Microsoft

PowerPoint on technical capabilities, testimonials, and case studies.

Must have a deep understanding of the sales development process in IT

Services companies for an international clientele.

Experience interacting/ liaison with global sales teams/ customers regularly to

drive the sales development cycle.

Highly experienced in using Microsoft Office Tools and any CRM software.

B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics or Computer discipline.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ownership of the materials prepared and the quality of work involved

Ability to manage priority and get things done on time

Outstanding attitude and energy to explore preferences and ideas of

stakeholders and generate the best outcomes

Strong interpersonal skills to achieve goals as a team

Flexible to work in a distributed and collaborative global team environment

across time zones

Self-motivated individual with accountability and responsibility
