Data Science Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Science Manager to join our team in Bangalore. This role requires 8-12 years of experience in the field of data science, with a solid foundation in SQL, Python, Pyspark, Data Pre-processing, Supervised Machine Learning, Exploratory Data Analysis, Unsupervised Machine Learning, Forecasting Algorithms, Ensemble Models, Causal approaches, and other relevant skills. As a Data Science Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and overseeing the development and implementation of innovative data analysis strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that meets the companys objectives and standards.
2. Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
3. Oversee the data science project lifecycle, including conceptualization, development, implementation, and post-implementation review.
4. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, campaign optimization, and other business outcomes.
5. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
6. Liaise with various business units and stakeholders to understand their data analytics needs and provide solutions accordingly.
7. Stay updated with the latest technology trends in data science, and incorporate them into our data analysis strategies where relevant.

Key Skills:

1. Proven experience in managing a team of data scientists.
2. Strong knowledge in SQL, Python, Pyspark, Data Pre-processing, Supervised ML, EDA, Unsupervised ML, Forecasting Algorithms, Ensemble Models, Causal approaches.
3. Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms and data structures.
4. Experience in data mining techniques and predictive modeling.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
6. Ability to drive team performance and deliver on team objectives.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field.
2. 8-12 years of experience in data science.
