Role Overview:
Plan, design, develop, verify, and maintain automated and manual test suites.
About the Role:
Plan, develop, execute, monitor, improve, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
Identify, document defects and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Hands-on experience in setting up test Infrastructure in virtual environments like VMware ESXi server, Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix and OpenShift.
Works with product development teams throughout the product development life cycle to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met.
Increase product automated test coverage and improve the release quality across multiple test environments.
Lead troubleshooting of issues in QA environment
About You:
Experience: 5 - 8 years experience in Functional QA testing, particularly with products interfacing with networking and security solutions.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Automation: Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks across CLI, UI, REST, API interfaces
CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitHub is a must.
Network Protocols: Experience of testing network protocols like TCPIP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SNMP, ICMP is a big plus
Knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting is highly desirable.
Exposure to Virtual environments such as VM-Workstation, ESX server, Hyper-V , KVM
Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of various testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and performance testing
Any exposure to Test Complete will be a plus.
