Senior Data Scientist - Forecasting / GenAI

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of applying statistical models, machine learning techniques, and data visualization to solve real-world problems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Science Solutions Development:

• Develop and implement machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical techniques to address business challenges.
• Design experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and solutions.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to improve performance and scalability.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business leaders, to understand their needs and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into data science projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

3. Model Deployment & Monitoring:

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Monitor the performance of deployed models and retrain them as needed.
• Ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

4. Mentorship & Leadership:

• Provide technical mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts.
• Lead data science projects and manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

5. Research & Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with proficiency in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Expertise in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, ensemble models, and deep learning.
• Proven experience in data wrangling, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for model development and deployment.
