Job Description
- Conduct primary and secondary research into Diagnostics technologies , Healthcare Insurance innovations , and adjacent sectors such as digital health, wellness solutions, and personalized medicine.
- Identify growth and innovation opportunities, compiling findings into Annual Sectoral Research Reports.
- Attend key industry events, analyzing healthcare trends and identifying collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate with incubators, accelerators, and sourcing partners (e.g., IITM, CCMB, MedTech accelerators ) to identify startups aligned with TRD Studios investment thesis.
- Evaluate startup solutions with a focus on innovation, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Sectoral Curators to shape fund roadmaps and investment strategies.
- Conduct in-depth investment analysis covering product innovation, market opportunities, and scalability.
- Prepare comprehensive Investment Memos (IM) for approval by the Investment Committee.
- Support due diligence across financial, technical, and regulatory dimensions.
- Collaborate with Diagnostics and Healthcare Insurance portfolio founders to develop and implement business and Go-to-Market (GTM) plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and benchmark valuations to inform scaling strategies.
- Create compelling presentations for clients, partners, and investors, showcasing portfolio growth.
- Conduct targeted sell-side research to identify potential exit opportunities and market gaps.
- Build and maintain relationships with private equity players, corporate M&A teams, and institutional investors.
- Develop strategies to prepare portfolio companies for acquisitions or IPO readiness.
- Publish thought-provoking insights on Diagnostics and Healthcare Insurance trends.
- Develop intellectual capital, raising the profile of TRD Studios and portfolio companies.
- Facilitate community engagement and contribute to sectoral knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Gain hands-on experience in Diagnostics and Healthcare Insurance services within a leading venture capital framework.
- Access TRD Studios extensive global network of founders, investors, and healthcare experts.
- Develop core skills in early-stage investments, portfolio management, and exit strategies.
- Participate in co-investment opportunities and gain exposure to equity-sharing models.
- Thrive in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment that values collaboration and innovation.
We are seeking candidates who are:
- Passionate about Healthcare : A degree in Biotechnology, Healthcare Management, Pharma, Life Sciences, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Experienced : 0-3 years in Diagnostics, HealthTech, Insurance, MedTech, or adjacent fields.
- Financially Literate : Strong understanding of financial analysis, market sizing, and investment frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial : A self-starter with the ambition to create tangible impact within the HealthTech ecosystem.
- Detail-Oriented Problem-Solvers : Skilled in project management and adept at handling multiple priorities.
- Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance, and the latest advancements in digital health solutions.
