Senior Java Engineer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to understand project requirements and design efficient and effective software solutions.
• Lead the development and implementation of complex Java-based applications, ensuring high-quality code, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support in their professional growth.
• Perform thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback and promoting best practices in coding standards and software design.
• Optimize application performance and scalability, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and ensuring efficient utilization of system resources.
• Implement unit tests and conduct integration testing to validate application functionality and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development, applying new technologies and tools to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Java Engineer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in Java programming and related technologies, such as Guice, MongoDB, Redis, Memcache, Bazel, gRPC.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in leading software development projects and guiding teams to successful outcomes.
• Solid understanding of web application development, including RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Experience with cloud technologies and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
