Job Description
The Transport Manager is responsible for overseeing the transport operations, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines, and managing day-to-day tasks efficiently. This role also involves addressing employee concerns, validating invoices, and collaborating with stakeholders for smooth operations.
- Supervise all transport functions, ensuring adherence to guidelines and policies.
- Validate transport-related invoices and documents, ensuring timely submission to the GHSE reporting manager.
- Address employee queries and Level 2 escalations regarding transport, resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure 100% compliance in all aspects of transport management.
- Conduct weekly training for transport staff and drivers on safety, policies, procedures, and compliance, including women s safety.
- Lead monthly management review (MMR) meetings with the Garfield Manager, discussing MIS, compliance, and other relevant topics.
- Handle any additional responsibilities assigned by Garfield.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing transport services, with at least 5 years in an IT/ITeS organization.
- Graduate with excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
