Overview

The position of India Financial Controller will report to the EMEA & APAC Accounting & Finance Director and is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the timely completion of management and statutory account reporting and related filings for TNS s India based subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

• Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts under US GAAP, including detailed commentaries explaining month-on-month movements
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Managing statutory audit process
• Ensuring compliance with all local legal and regulatory requirements for Corporate Secretarial matters, including arranging Board Meetings
• Cash funding management activities, liaising with local bank contacts
• Monthly and Annual tax filings - GST, TDS, Income Taxes
• Providing support to global Finance team for ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

Main Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (preferably CA/CPA qualified) with c.7-10 years PQE
• US GAAP reporting and Indian GAAP experience
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organise workload and prioritise against tight deadlines
• Strong self-management skills. Ability to set well-defined and realistic goals; monitor progress and achieve results; manage multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to plan work in accordance with general direction
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player and excellent interpersonal communication skills

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-10+ years PQE
• 3+ years at Financial Controller level
