Job Description - Lead Automation Engineer

Location: Noida Sector 62

Role Overview:

As a Lead Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python. You will lead a team of automation engineers, define automation strategies, and integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins). You will work closely with development and QA teams to enhance automation coverage and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation test scripts.
• Drive the integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define automation strategies.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers, conducting code reviews and best practice sessions.
• Enhance test efficiency by introducing optimizations and automation tools.
• Ensure robust test coverage and implement reporting mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation failures and work closely with developers for resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in test automation and framework development.
• Expertise in Robot Framework and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience in framework development using Robot Framework.
• Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of API automation and database testing.
• Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as BDD Optimize test cases, reduce test-cycle time and increase product reliability
• Experience in leading teams and defining automation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
