PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer who is passionate about building scalable and high-performance applications in a product-based and tech startup environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science concepts, problem-solving skills, and deep expertise in core PHP and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with PHP and modern frameworks.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to develop scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure efficient database queries.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers for a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications.

Must-Have Skills

✅ Proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
✅ Strong knowledge of core JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus).
✅ Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and CS fundamentals.
✅ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
✅ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
✅ Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

✨ AWS expertise (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
✨ Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
✨ Knowledge of DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
✨ Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
