Substation Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare primary engineering design for substation projects, including AIS & GIS layouts.
  
• Conduct secondary design activities such as earthing, lighting, and cable sizing calculations.
  
• Develop detailed designs for switchgear panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize design solutions.
  
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and company policies during project execution.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-20 years of experience in substation design engineering (AIS & GIS) with expertise in 220kV/400kV/132kV/66kV systems.
  
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil or Electrical discipline from a recognized institution.
  
• Strong understanding of power transmission networks, transmission lines, and high-voltage equipment like transformers and switchgear.
