Sales and Marketing Manager / Business Development

Job Summary:
Touchwood Engineering and Projects Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to drive our business development efforts in the manufacturing and machining of gears and transmission systems. This role is key to expanding our market presence and strengthening client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent networking skills, and a proven track record in sales and marketing, particularly in the fields of mechanical engineering and industrial components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth for gears and transmission systems.
• Identify new market opportunities, establish connections with potential clients, and expand the customer base.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product alignment with client needs and market demand.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing solutions to meet their evolving requirements.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine sales and marketing strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key market insights for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in the manufacturing sector, preferably with a focus on gears and transmission systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and the specific needs of clients in this sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
