Senior Platform Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and play a critical role in streamlining and automating our cloud infrastructure.

As a Platform Engineer at Torry Harris, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automated processes for our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment and management of our cloud services.

Qualification:

•    5+ years of hands-on experience in taking requirements and designing, architecting, and implementing scalable and robust solutions.
•    Proven success in building frameworks and products.
•    3+ years of experience working with modern programming languages like Typescript, Java, Node.js, Python
•    3+ years of experience with agile methodologies and best practices.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS experience is a plus).
•    Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
•    Experience with serverless technologies (such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway) is a plus.
 

•    Work closely with lead engineers to help shape architectural decisions and build robust solutions.
•    Develop patterns, services, tools, frameworks, APIs, and capabilities across the full stack and in AWS to enhance developer productivity with a security-first approach.
•    Create reusable components and microservices to power our self-service portal.
•    Implement patterns, services, tools, frameworks, APIs, and capabilities across AWS to promote developer productivity and ensure security.
•    Contribute to our CI/CD platform on AWS, focusing on streamlining the path to production.
•    Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present your work clearly.
