Senior Developer - Web Applications

You are a skilled Senior ASP.NET MVC jQuery Developer who has a deep understanding of the ASP.NET MVC framework, jQuery library, and related technologies. As a senior developer, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain web applications for our corporate websites and product microsites.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other related technologies
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new website features
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications through careful planning and execution
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions promptly
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to implement technical SEO (on-page SEO optimization, site structure and navigation, URL structure, page speed optimization, mobile optimization)
• Write efficient database queries and stored procedures to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET Web API.
• Create comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI to facilitate seamless consumption by other developers
• Implement techniques to optimize API performance, including caching strategies, efficient database queries, and response compression
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility of web applications and develop front-end views using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Write clean, modular JavaScript code for client-side scripting, including DOM manipulation, event handling, and AJAX interactions
• Develop responsive web applications that adapt to various devices and screen sizes using responsive design techniques and media queries
• Create custom jQuery plugins and extensions to enhance web application functionality, focusing on performance and reliability
• Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance

Requirements:

• 6-7 years of web development experience
• Strong expertise in ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server, Version Control Systems, and Server Management
• Implement security measures such as HTTPS, JWT, API keys, and CORS policies to safeguard APIs against unauthorized access and security threats
• Proficient in working with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Conduct validation and verification testing and ensure software is updated with the latest technologies
• Expertise in Web Application Design and Development, including JavaScript libraries, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, and AJAX
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Docker architecture and DevOps practices
• Minimum 2 years of experience in provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
• Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. Ability to customize and extend CMS functionalities using PHP
