Biomedical Engineer

Qualification: BE / B Tech in Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience: 2-10 years of experience

Required Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, good administration skills, and comprehensive knowledge of medical instruments

Key Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of functioning of biomedical equipments (with relation to human physiology/anatomy) used in medical field including Physiotherapy (Neuro & Ortho) equipments.
• Identify the biomedical equipments best suited for our needs.
• Preparation of User Requirement Specification (URS) of the biomedical equipment under consideration for procurement as per our needs.
• Receipt and verification of the biomedical equipment procured against order and inventory management of equipments, spares and consumables.
• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) of biomedical and rehabilitation equipments.
• Train medical professionals on proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipments.
• Evaluate the performance of biomedical equipment as per schedule frequency.
• Keep track of Annual maintenance contract (AMC) and ensure services as per AMC schedule.
• Maintain documentation of devices to comply with NABH requirements.
• Take care of minor maintenance and failures related to biomedical equipments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to provide solutions to complex medical problems
• Frequent knowledge update with the latest advancements in rehabilitation engineering/devices.
