Survey Data Tester

The primary role of the Survey Data Tester is to take care of the qualitative aspect of a survey, by checking the logical aspect of a project with the help of dummy data. This means checking the programming part (filtering, classification criteria and other, more complex programming procedures).

The focus of a Survey Data Tester is to have and to permanently improve the necessary technical skills, to build a set of soft skills and become a reliable member of the team.

Additionally, he/she will work on manual testing the links, whenever needed, checking the programming aspect, linguistic aspect and UI of the survey.

The delivery of his/her assigned projects following the internal processes, acquiring assistance when needed;

Meeting timeline expectations while maintaining high quality standards projects;

Be accountable and take full responsibility for testing assigned projects (both via RDG and manually);

Meeting personal MBO targets established with the TL;

Establish good working relationships with other departments;

Collaborate with SP and PM teams to ensure smooth running and timely delivery of all projects involved in;

Escalate any issue to Team Leader as soon as identified;

Keep TL updated on the workload, project successes or concerns;

Keep TL up to date with efficiency and progress of personal assignments;

Learn and follow current data testing standards and policies;

Define the details related to the RDG testing: like plan, time line, resource required and potential roadblock with mentor support;

Focus on keeping a high level of quality on own projects;

Be part of a quality team to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained;

Participate in training and any mentoring activities set by his/her TL;

Identifies the issues and highlights them, with improvement proposals where applicable;

Documents the links defects and reports them to the developers;

Analyses the functional specs of the link for completeness;

Participates in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

Your Profile :

Basic knowledge in programming logic and programming concepts, algorithm understanding and a logical approach on matter.

Very good understanding of SPSS (dataset, syntax and output) and very good syntax development skills, using the appropriate commands - minimum 2 years of experience)
