Here's what you'll be doing:
- We are looking for a finance expert for our finance department to look after payment transactions and our company's financial commitments.
- You will need to maintain ledgers, oversee tax-related processes, and maintain spreadsheets and databases of valuable information.
Key responsibilities:
Accounts receivable:
- Preparing Order-forms, and contracts to be finalized with customers.
- Working closely with the team on invoicing, payment reminders, monitoring accounts receivables and revenue at risk.
- Tracking payments, reasons for hold-ups and communicating with team members.
- Tracking subscription renewals and ensuring all subscriptions are renewed without any delay.
- Identifying revenue leakage, if any.
- Preparing payment review decks for management.
Payroll processing:
- Processing payroll including calculating employee pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits, and ensuring that employees are paid on time and accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant PF and other payroll laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance of the same.
- Responding to employee inquiries about their salary, benefits, or taxes.
- Preparing payroll reports for management review.
Is this someone that looks like you?.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA from a recognized business school preferred.
- Excel ninja - comfortable working on Google Suite, and Excel Champion, and generating relevant insights from revenue and payroll perspective.
- Good Communication skills.
- B2B SaaS experience preferred with exposure to various A/R and billing tools like Chargebee and payroll tools like Zoho or Keka QuickBooks, Bill.com, Stripe, etc.
