We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AVP Sales to lead our sales efforts in data products, retail lending platforms, and credit & risk scoring solutions
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the Startup , Consumer internet , IT Companies ,Software companies with a deep understanding of data-driven products
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets
Focus on selling complex digital , data & technology solutions including data products, retail lending platforms, and credit scoring products
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with Consumer facing companies , marketplaces , non banking and banking / financial institutions, fintech companies, and other potential clients
Understand client needs and propose solutions that meet their business objectives
Solution Design : Should have core skills of building technical solutions around data
Should have a start-up mindset and willingness to go beyond the set KRA
Market Analysis and Business Development: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, market needs, and potential business opportunities
Collaborate with product development & pre sales / implementation teams to align offerings with market demand
Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and effective management of sales opportunities from lead generation to closure
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, product development, pre sales , implementation team and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive strategy and customer experience
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Data Science,Marketing, Finance, or a related field
An MBA or equivalent is preferred
Must be from tech startups in the last 3 jobs
Minimum of 5+ experience of hands on work in Analytics
Basic knowledge of Data Science, Statistics and Machine learning
6-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the Data Sales with focus in fintech, or financial services industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a technology-driven business environment
Strong understanding of enterprise products , saas , digital transformations , data products, retail lending solutions, and credit scoring methodologies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel as required
