Position: Technical Author/Proofreader_ Airbus AMM/AM/TSM/AFI and IPC

Role & responsibilities

• Contribute in the creation/modification/revision of the manual content for the Airbus AMM/TSM & IPC for all Airbus programs.
• Knowledge of ATA 25 and 33 is must.
• Familiarity with authoring processes for AMM/AM/TSM/AFI and IPC manuals in line with S1000D, ATA iSpec2200 and ASD STE 100 standards.
• Proficiency in tool skills such as GAMS, IMS-PA, MADAME, TAKSY, PASS-SSI, DACAS, TDUMS, DMP, Arbortext Editor, Tech Request, AIRINA, AIRNAVx, etc.
• Good knowledge and implementation skill of Airbus guides.
• Understand and follow the impact analysis (RFR, MPM, SB, COC, CONC, MPD, etc.) to create the content to meet the change request.
• Defect-free approach on deliveries and support in managing SDR and Tech Request answering.
• Capability to perform cross-check/peer reviews and hold an active proofreading certificate for AMM/AM/TSM/AFI and IPC.
• Mentoring authors with a continual improvement mindset and taking ownership of technical processes for assigned projects.
• Perform review of work orders completed by the authors.
• Follow the processes and standards defined for the project. Perform the Internal and external rejection analysis for every rejection code, discuss in Knowledge sharing sessions and ensure prevention of rejections, maintaining quality KPI.
• Participate in peer-reviews and follow the review cycles to ensure the Right First time.
• Ability to develop content for Knowledge and Training Sessions.
