Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal & External Inspections: Conduct inspections for engineering, electrical, and hull equipment installations, tests, and trials.

2. QA Documentation: Preparation of key QA documents, including QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), NDT Plan, GRAQs, etc., to ensure compliance with standards.

3. Trial and Test Scheduling: Develop and manage schedules for trial and testing of equipment in coordination with OEMs, Yard, Classification Societies (e.g., IRS), and customer representatives such as the Coast Guard and Indian Navy.

4. Dock & Sea Trials: Lead coordination and execution of dock trials and sea trials, overseeing the acceptance of equipment and systems on the vessel.

5. Material Inspections: Supervise receipt inspections of materials to ensure quality standards.

6. SAP Quality Management: Oversee quality management processes in SAP, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.

7. OEM Coordination: Manage quality inspections with OEMs and ensure that products meet required quality standards.

8. Final Delivery Documentation: Prepare final delivery documents for the ship, ensuring all quality checks are documented and finalized.

9. Liaison with Customer and Classification Societies: Act as the point of contact with customers and classification societies (e.g., IRS) for all quality-related aspects, ensuring complete and successful delivery of the vessel.

10. Quality Control Coordination: Coordinate quality control inspections at various stages, including pre-fabrication, fabrication, assembly, and erection.

11. Third-Party Comments Resolution: Collaborate with Design, Production, Machinery, Hull, and Electrical departments to resolve third-party comments related to quality issues.

12. Customer Representative Coordination: Work closely with customer representatives to address any quality matters and ensure alignment on requirements.

13. Technical Document Management: Ensure that all technical documents related to quality control are current and accurately reflect the status of the vessel.

Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve quality and production-related issues to ensure smooth progress.
