Google Cloud Platform Architect - Cloud Solutions (6-16 yrs)

Architectural Leadership :

- Lead the design and development (ask for if they have created High Level Design (HLD)/Low Level Design (LLD) of cloud solutions on public cloud/GCP.

- Ask for high level scenario they worked on for any customer

- Migration tools like Google Migrate, AWS Mgn Services or any third party tool

- Define and maintain the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Evaluate and recommend tools (Best Practices, Cloud Adoption Frameworks, Security best practices, auditing, compliances, monitoring tool like nagios/Zabbix or any other open source, New Relic, Data Visualizations tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Pub/Sub), technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality solutions.

Solution Design :

- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

- Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implementation and Migration :

- Oversee the implementation of Multi Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud), ensuring they meet performance and reliability targets.

- Lead heterogeneous cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime (High Availability or Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and seamless transition with cloud agnostic tools as well Third-party toolsets (if any).

- Provide guidance and best practices for deploying and managing applications in GCP.

Team Leadership and Collaboration :

- Ensure no customer escalations.

- Ask for any scenario where they handled P1 or P2 situations where they got customer appreciation or Pressure Situations

- Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Team handling skillset

- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to integrate cloud solutions.

- Tool names like native cloud devops pipeline in GCP, OpenSource like Jenkins

- Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill teams on GCP services and best practices.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.

- Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and network security.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest GCP services, features, and industry trends.

- Continuously evaluate and improve cloud processes and architectures to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and GCP.

- Proven experience in leading large-scale cloud projects and migrations.
