POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Drive the entire procurement function for RM/PM across all manufacturing locations
2. Optimum availability of Stocks at Plant & Depot Level
3. Most economical transportation amongst plant and depots
4. Having efficient Service Partners CFA
5. Effective implementation of SAP at CFA billing locations
6. Recruit, Develop & retain quality manpower in supply chain
ROLE: LOGISTICS - Strategic, Directional and Developmental
1. To strategize Supply Chain dynamically for the optimum utilization of resources on sustainable basis.
2. Dynamic production forecasting for stock requirement/availability and coordinate with the plants for the same.
3. To motivate and direct plants for optimum availability of stocks in line with the Annual Business Plan (ABP)
4. Guide the logistic team in HO and at plant level for establishing best of the supply chain practices.
5. Direct the logistic team for availability of stocks brand wise pack wise as per ABP at all times to avoid Stock outs or over stocking.
6. Co-ordinate with Marketing Manager/GPM for execution of POP material, (marketing initiatives) as per the agreed calendar in ABP.
7. Regularly have financial review of transportation cost with (Head - Accts) for healthy bottom line.
8. Have a clear focus on new channels like Institutions, HoReCa and Modern Trade for direct supplies with agreed time frame and at economical cost.
9. Ensuring Zero run down of SAP at C&F and billing locations in co-ordination with IT department at all times.
10. Ensuring implementation of over stocks or zero stocks at plant and depot level and maintenance of discipline across region on the same.
11. Ensure that you have the budgeted manpower. Attract and retain quality manpower.
12. Work out a training calendar for all team members in the logistic team and implement the same.
ROLE: PURCHASE - Strategic, Directional and Developmental
1. Generate annual budget for purchase / procurement function.
2. Centralize the purchase functions wherever possible, for value enhancement on negotiation thereby better discounts. Drive initiatives like reverse auctioning etc. to deliver better value.
3. Ensure proper system of reviewing stocks & monitoring reordering levels at all manufacturing locations.
4. Ensure that Procurement plans & schedules are correctly derived from the Sales forecast & BOM.
5. Develop and enhance market intelligence to keep a constant vigil on the market for exploring the right time of buying, spot purchases & maximum procurement at the most competitive price.
6. Plan strategy for negotiation based on various parameters viz. value engineering, international trend, demand supply, cross currency equations, etc..
7. Aim at significant reduction in procurement price through effective negotiations, market intelligence, reverse auctions, etc..
8. Exploring new ideas and concepts for cost saving by means of outsourcing, optimized packing, reducing freight cost, timing etc..
9. Design reporting models to the management on Purchase performance, Cost Improvement Plan (CIP), purchase standardization across sites & overall performance vis-a-vis budgeted cost on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.
10. Initiation of various new projects and their monitoring on SAP and ensuring its smooth functioning.
ROLE : PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL
1. Planning for beverages and dairy supply side functions and coordination with plants demand planner, production and procurement to ensure timely delivery as per schedules.
2. Provide estimates of timing and/or quantity for purchasing decisions over the upcoming quarter.
3. Responsible for capacity planning for plants including capacity and adherence of production planning to Annual Business Planning targets.
4. Provide inputs for Annual Business Planning processes based on requirements, profitability and capacities.
5. Contribute for the development of IT systems to support supply planning processes and ensure that the SAP system can be extended for smooth functioning of supply processes.
6. Contribute to resolving any issues related to accuracy of Supply side related data in the beverage and dairy ERP system.
Any Graduate or MBA in SCM/Operations
Candidates from Engineering background are preferred
