Azure/AWS Consultant - Cloud Infrastructure (7-15 yrs)

Job Description :

Cloud Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures on Azure and AWS (Good to have).

- Provide guidance on cloud strategies, infrastructure architecture, and integration of cloud services with on premises systems.

Cloud Migration :

- Plan, design, and execute cloud migrations, including assessment, re-platforming, and re-architecting on Azure and AWS. (Good to have)

- Lead cloud migration and transformation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Automation & DevOps :

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure deployments and application delivery.

- Optimize and automate cloud operations using tools like Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure cloud infrastructure follows best practices for security, identity management, data protection, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Implement cloud security frameworks and monitoring solutions like Azure Security Center and AWS Security Hub.

Cost Management & Optimization :

- Advise clients on cloud cost management and optimization strategies using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Trusted Advisor, and Azure Cost Management.

- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency through rightsizing, auto-scaling, and reserved instance management.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Utilize cloud monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and third-party solutions for system performance analysis.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Cloud Platforms :

- Expert knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and Azure (Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD, App Services).

- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud deployments.

Certifications (at least one of the following) :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
