Database Developer - Architecture & Design (5-16 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture Design :

- Lead the design and architecture of complex database solutions using MS SQL and Oracle.

- Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and ETL processes.

- Ensure databases are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to database administrators and developers.

- Establish and enforce best practices for database design, development, and maintenance.

- Conduct regular reviews of database architecture and provide recommendations for improvements.

Database Management :

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MS SQL and Oracle databases.

- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning.

- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with application development teams to integrate database solutions with business applications.

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure optimal database performance and availability.

- Participate in the evaluation and selection of database technologies and tools.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in database technologies and trends.

- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve database architecture and processes.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database efficiency and effectiveness.
