Manager - Internal Audit

CanRole & responsibilities

• Planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance-related audits
• Identifying, evaluating, and providing recommendations on internal control issues and departures from operating
• and standards to mitigate risks and improve efficiency  
• Directing various departmental initiatives, testing the internal control effectiveness and maintaining status of  recommendations with management  
• Creating draft audit announcements, conducting audit kick-off meetings, offering recommendations
• observed, controlling weaknesses and following up on management responses to audit findings  
• Complete documentation in test sheets, templates, etc. Operational risk management and continuous process improvement by incorporating inherent risk mitigating controls.

• Compliance check in line with statutory guidelines and companys policies Document test results and provide recommendations to management, including identifying compensating controls and residual risk to issues if any.
• Rationalization of Risk Control Matrix, defining and adding controls, updating SOPs as and where process improvement is required Preparation of audit reports content with the findings linked with respective control, risk involved and the relevant action plans as recommendation.
• Discussion/presentation of observations to management and remediation action plan depending on the severity of control deficiency.
• Follow up with respective teams on implementation of action plan/ to close open action items Implementation of required controls resulting in cost savings and preventing revenue leakage
• Opportunities Coordinating with external auditors for timely completion of statutory audits Other adhoc projects as and when assigned by the management.
• Enterprise risk management & EMR Framework

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with 10 years of experience, CA Qualified/Certification in Internal Audit would be proffered, experience in manufacturing is must
