Lead Test Engineer - API Testing (7-10 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Lead Test Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in creating and executing high-quality and maintainable testing strategies for mobile applications that connect to backends with dashboards.

They will lead a team of testers and collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

- Must have thorough experience in both manual and automated testing.

- Lead the testing efforts and mentor junior QA engineers to ensure high-quality standards.

- Skilled in creating and managing test documents like Test Plans and Test Cases.

- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with mobile, API, and dashboard testing.

- Hands-on experience with Test Management Tools.

- Proficient in Test Execution, identifying issues, and analyzing exceptions.

- Knowledge of designing and implementing tests with test frameworks.

- Experienced in reviewing software changes and structuring tests accordingly.

- Proven experience in Test Planning and developing Test Strategies.

- Well-versed in the complete testing process, including bug tracking, reporting, and documentation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and strategies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 7+ years of relevant experience.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team of QA professionals.

- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.

- Proficient with test tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Playwright.

- Strong analyzing and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
