Quality Assurance Engineer - Cypress/Automation Testing (3-6 yrs)

We are looking for a 3+ experienced Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute manual test cases around mobile, web frontend & backend products to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we'd like to meet you.

Objectives of this Role

- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards

- Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions

- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits

- Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines

- Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance

- Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor

- Must have experience with any of the following: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

- You must have experience with programming languages such as Java or Python

- Superb computer competence, including database management

- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of Web Application Automation Testing, Mobile app automation testing and API automation testing

- Knowledge of of Shopify Ecosystem is a plus - Optional

- Mobile & Web App testing

- UI Testing

- API Testing

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
