QA Specialist -Associate-Data Testing (ETL, SQL, DB), PowerBI, and Tableau

Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Specialist to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our data testing processes, including ETL, SQL, databases, and data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes, SQL databases, and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and applications.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues in ETL processes, SQL queries, databases, and data visualizations.
Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Validate data transformations, data loads, and data integrity in ETL processes.
Test SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions to ensure they meet performance and accuracy standards.
Evaluate data visualizations for accuracy, usability, and consistency.
Participate in the implementation and testing of new features and updates.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving data processes and system functionality.
Assist in the development and maintenance of QA documentation and best practices.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users during testing phases.

Candidate Profile
Experience:
5+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on data testing (ETL, SQL, DB) and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Education
Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related discipline.
