Tableau Developer

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate the same into effective visualizations that provide actionable insights • Creating wireframes and beta dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability • Develop and maintain documentation related to Tableau solutions

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Requirement (Must Have): • 2-3 years of experience working in developing, publishing maintaining and managing Tableau dashboards • Working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture • Creating wireframes and beta dashboards with a focus on user experience, • correctness, and visibility • Strong proficiency with SQL and data modelling for analysis and building end to end • data pipelines. • Ability to write complex queries and understanding of database concepts • Ability to be effective in virtual as well as in person setup • Strong at turning data discoveries into analytical insights that drive business outcomes • Strong verbal and written communications skills Nice to have: • Experience in working with clickstream data and web analytics tools like Adobe Omniture, Google analytics • Experience with programming languages like Python & Unix Shell for data pipeline automation and analysis Education: Bachelors degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence team
