Paint Shop Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Allocation of manpower at respective stations at starting of shift.

• Loading of wheels as per standard or as per dispatch urgencies.

• Monitoring all line parameters like Guns, pumps, oven & conveyor speed etc. according to the requirement.

• Ensure Material availability like paint, consumable item and spray paint.

Hanger modification and tracking, if any hanger or primary hanger found broken than send it to respective area for rework or replaced.

• PT , CED Line Knowledge.

• Ensure housekeeping shop floor, mainting 5S in plant.

• Providing training to the workers & painters.

• Ensure PPE of all casuals & workers during shift.

• Intimate breakdown and abnormalities of plant to respective departments for rectification.

• Complete all log books & check sheet on daily basis.

• Do Red Bin analysis of defects on daily basis

• Performing all top coat test like harness test & cross hatch test.

• Analysis of defects on every two hour and if found any abnormality thn discuss with painter and rework persons.

• Kaizen and suggestion implementation.

• Updating of shortage vs. plan msg or status in every 2 hour.
