GM Finance

We are looking for General Manager - Finance for Usha Martin University.

Location - Ranchi

The General Manager - Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, operations, and compliance of the organization.

Financial Strategy and Planning

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Lead financial planning and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Forecast financial trends and identify opportunities to optimize financial performance.

Budgeting and Reporting

• Oversee the preparation, review, and management of annual budgets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Monitor performance against budgets and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Risk Management and Compliance

• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax laws, auditing standards, and financial reporting regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.

Operational Leadership

• Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Drive cost-efficiency initiatives across the organization.

Strategic Initiatives

• Provide financial insights to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on financial matters.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting.
• Masters degree and professional certifications CA.

Candidate must be a CA with a minimum exp. of 10 years in a reputed organization.
