QA Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA lead with experience into both Automation and Manual testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and execute test plans and frameworks, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional product performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure highest quality of the software through best practices in testing the software that can provide delightful customer experience.

Participate/Define test strategy for the product suite that aligns with the release scope and ensures maximum coverage using optimum resources.

Analyzes new requirements, stories, scenarios, and rules to develop test plans, scenarios, test conditions, test cases, test data and expected results.

Conducts ad-hoc/exploratory/negative testing to ensure the application can handle surprises.

Executing detailed test cases within a complex software environment (System, Integration, and Regression) comprising multiple functional modules applications to ensure an end-to-end application transactional integrity.

Ensure On-Time test case creation, review, and execution of product features as per the Product Roadmap.

Embrace test-driven development processes and adhere to SAFe practices to ensure compliance with organizational objectives

Work in collaboration with Developers, Architects, BAs and Automation Test team to ensure functional coverage and resolve issues.

Report test execution in a manner that is easy to understand and actionable.

Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6-10 years of experience as a QA.

Proven experience into both Automation and Manual testing.

Experience of handling a team.

Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, and ALM.

Languages: Java

Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber (BDD frameworks)

Version Control: Git, Bitbucket

CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI

Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, ALM

Performance Testing: Basic knowledge of JMeter

API Testing: Postman

Development Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
