Category Intern

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Category Intern at Broadway in Mumbai. The Category Intern will be responsible for category management, analytical tasks, communication with stakeholders, contract negotiation, and procurement activities on a day-to-day basis.

• Support building and growing key categories
• Work with the team to manage KPIs and P&L financials
• Assist in reviewing assortments, listings, and merchant performance
• Support the Business Development, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams on supply acquisition
• Support development of product/feature requirements to grow categories
• Effectively communicate & collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders
• Demonstrate analytical thinking and leverage data to support decision making

• Category Management and Procurement skills
• Analytical Skills for data analysis and decision-making
• Strong Communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
• Experience in Contract Negotiation
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of retail industry trends
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
