Microsoft Fabric Architect - Power BI/Azure Data Factory (12-15 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining architectural strategies, building end-to-end data pipelines, and enabling advanced analytics and AI solutions.

The successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including Synapse, Power BI, Data Factory, and Data Lake, as well as experience in integrating cloud-based data solutions with business processes.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-performing, and cost-effective solutions that align with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

- Architectural Design and Development

- Design and develop robust, scalable data architectures using Microsoft Fabric technologies.

- Lead the integration of data sources, data modeling, and data pipelines to support business intelligence, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.

Performance and Optimization

- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of data processing and storage solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Fabric features and industry trends to drive innovation.

Security and Compliance

- Ensure the security, governance, and compliance of data solutions in accordance with best practices.

Innovation and Leadership

- Provide thought leadership in the use of Microsoft Fabric to deliver cutting-edge data solutions.

Leadership

- Serve as company-wide data engineering and data management SME (including delivery data architects).

Mandatory Qualifications

- 12+ years hands-on data solution architecture and implementation experience on modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred) including Data Analytics and AI/ML.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AND Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate having experience with common data-related Azure services(e.

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Purview, Dataflows, SQL etc).

- Demonstrated, hands-on experience in data engineering using Microsoft Fabric.

- Modern Data Management skills:

- Data Modeling& Design

- Data Warehousing & ETL/ELT

- Big Data Technologies

- Practical experience with end-to-end data engineering and data management supporting functions including data modeling (conceptual, logical & physical), BI & analytics, data governance, data quality, data security / privacy / compliance and performance optimization

- Advanced SQL and data profiling

- Python, Scala or similar programming language

- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Strong, self-management skills demonstrating ability to multitask and self-manage goals and activities.

Additional/Nice-to-have Qualifications :

- Any certification in Azure Cloud or Python

Required Education :

- Master or Bachelor (CS, IT or demonstrated experience)
