Social Media Manager

Role & responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organization's  overall marketing goals.

• Content Creation: Create engaging content, including text, images, and videos, for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Agency Management: Oversee social media agency operations, ensuring deliverables meet brand standards and campaign objectives.
• Community Management: Build and nurture a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Social Media Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns to reach a wider audience and achieve marketing goals.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to measure campaign performance and inform future strategies.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the marketing team, PR agency, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.
• Industry Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education in Digital Marketing, Communications & Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and their analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using social media management tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
