Responsibilities

• Audit: Examine and verify financial, operational, and managerial processes
• Risk assessment: Identify and assess risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management systems
• Control evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure they are adequate to mitigate risks
• Recommendations: Propose recommendations for process improvements to management
• Reporting: Prepare formal reports that document findings and recommendations
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
• Business process review: Assist in reviewing business processes and developing deliverables
• Audit planning: Assist in developing annual audit plans
